It's been crap for a while but apparently it managed to get worse! I didn't actually think it possible -.- Anyway, I am still gonna come back and pester you lot but it requires me to have a functioning network at home and well, Telenor dgaf. I thought I'd managed to find a solution the other day, but it fell through. Sooo, once more looking for yet another solution!
I haven't even gotten around to claiming my prize from the Christmas contest >.< Hope the chests works as a temporary bank while I sort out this g-damn network issue >.>
As always, I am reachable via discord though since my phone is usually logged in. You know it's bad when your mobile network is better than your damn landline.

Keep calling Telenor twice a week. If that doesnt help, send an email to their support with the whole history of events, and CC their boss/manager/owner. Also post everything at their Facebook page.
Or change to another isp...

Problem is, we're essentially fucked. It took months of harassing Telenor into doing their actual g-damn job, but they finally concluded that the physical line is damaged and they can't be bothered fixing it. And living out in the woods, there isn't as if there's any other physical lines. All other ISP's rent Telenor's line. We've talked with a local service who does wireless that actually works and isn't limited, but it requires line of sight to a sender and that's sort of impossible in the middle of a forest. So... our only solution it seems, is to put down fiber, which requires money and time and checking with neighbours who might be interested.
Conclusion: telenor has screwed us from getting another ISP unless we do the work ourselves and fork over the money to put down new lines.

Buy a shovel, start digging (and be sure to put unbreaking3 on it, cos it's gonna be a lot of digging)

I can donate shovels!
Jokes aside though, as a temporary alternative maybe you can use your phone has a hotspot and connect your pc to it for internet? SIM-based usb internet dongles also exist (which you should be able to get at your local phone/isp shop). They're usually batshit slow though, but can provide you with basic internet connectivity pretty much anywhere. Good luck dealing with your shitty ISP.

Good luck with Telenor. It's the biggest and oldest(that still exists) ISP in Norway. They are too big, so their support is crap. And I guess they have too many "my pc is not working because we have a power outage"-calls from ppl that dont have a clue.
Anyway, concider trying Ice as a mobile provider for internet, if Telenor/Netcom/Telia has bad reception at your place.
