Minecraft 1.13 Update - Will the Server reset??

Hi.

This is what I have heard from the owner about this so far:

There is no planned reset.

We will probably upgrade to 1.13, if possible, without a reset.
When the 1.13 release is out, we will have to wait for spigot and maybe plugins to update, before we can upgrade, if it's possible to upgrade.

Basically what I'm saying is, we will most probably try to upgrade at some point, it will be strange if Mojang don't make that possible.

About new world generation/terrain/biomes, I have no idea what we will or can do. Players have asked about extending the border, making a new world through a portal etc, but I don't know anything about what we will or can do about that stuff yet.

1.13 is still in the snapshots, and a lot can still change.
For now we just do the waiting game, and test out wierd water mechanics in the snapshots 😁

as snurre said, the server will most likely be updated to 1.13 pending any unforeseen issues but there is no official plan yet going forward. this will be the fourth major update on this world, the other three being the frostburn update, the exploration update, and the world of color update. Its too early, but as with the previous other major updates there will most likely be a poll regarding players opinions a reset and a discussion on what's going to happen, if anything.
