Hey all, Just want to express an idea or let out a bit of frustration. Time after time I get hit with the mining limit rule preventing me from mining diamonds, I and most others play at times where there is not a member of staff to reset this and it can be frustrating. (Im not expecting staff to be at my demand every second of the day). I use a haste II beacon with eff 5 and just destroy every block in sight and it is very easy to hit the mining limit in no time at all. I just thought that you could increase the mining limit based on the rank of the player. Example: Starter - Journeyman : Keep the mining limit to what it is now Veteran : Add an extra 10 more ores to the limit. Adept : Add an extra 10 more ores to the limit. Expert : Add an extra 10 more ores to the limit. And so on through the ranks. Thanks for reading please leave a vote and a comment for your reason. Peace out eeimA o/

This is a solution to the problem that will just cause the same problem.

There was an Expert rank person who was banned for xraying. hit limit. those ones are the hardest as we know the players and have known them for a while. If limit is hit, just go do something else. if you have a shop, go fill it up with stuff. building something? work in that for a little while. the points will add back up quickly.

Here is the problem with your idea here we have had high ranks banned for x-ray we have even had staff banned for x-ray so basically if you start increasing the limit then there is a lesser chance of them getting caught. Also you are basically putting a bandaid on your "issue" because you are still going to hit the limit as all the beacon mining people hit the limit constantly. There really is no way to stop the mining limit because it increases the likely hood of an xrayer getting caught as we reply on the limit telling us.

Yeah I think it’ll just be unfair giving players an unfair advantage. This means players can get away with xraying much more and it’ll make the staff’s lives much harder. I haven’t hit the limit in a while, so yea there’s other things to do other than mining, diamonds aren’t the only thing valuable in Minecraft, y’know =)
