What criteria does a build have to meet to be considered 'community-appreciated?'- Appreciated by a significant number of people in the community (obviously). - Has no function which benefits players in a survival-related manner.
What are the rules of nominating a build? To nominate a build you must: - Not own it. You cannot nominate a build you yourself have created.
How to Nominate the Build: - Submit a post below with a picture, coordinates, and description of the build, as well as a detailed description of why you think it is appreciated by the community.
How do I show support for an already nominated build? - Like the post that is nominating the build - Write another post detailing your reasons for supporting the nomination.
Will all nominated builds be transferred to the new world? - Not necessarily. In the end it's up to the staff to decide if the build meets the criteria.

Coords: By spawn... uh hard to miss.
Description: Lucid's desert kingdom.
Why nominate it: I think we can all agree this is the best large group of builds put together to form the most beautiful area in all of Simplex. Would be a challenge to save but well worth the effort. The only function it holds is to inspire players and drive us all to do better(unless Lucid is hiding an under ground grow operation. ) Even if only a few bits were to transfer, like the large air ship, it would be a very treasured piece of Simplex. <3

Build: Choo's grand arena Coords: 1898 -11215 Reason: Who does not remember paticipating in one of choo's grand arena matches. This whole arena was not build for choo's own purpose but it was made for the community to fight eachother in a hunger games style. I think this arena must be preserved because what would simplex be without the fun and excitment that the whole event brings. this is a build loved by a lot of people and a lot of people have good memories to the arena. for example winning one of the matches. Small edit for some better pictures. thanks choo.

Build: Mauhulakh's Racetrack Coords: 2100 -11500 Reason: Mau has put countless hours into this racetrack for a community build. It's a shame that it was never fully finished. I would love for this to be transferred so that Mau might be able to finish it so that we might all enjoy this amazing community build

I find it difficult to pass up nominating the centerpiece of the game district when choo wants to make another game district in Simplex 2. This arena offers a space that the arenas at /warp pvp don't provide and I don't want to see that taken away from the people that love fighting in large scale battles.

With the amount of time spent building both the grand arena and Lucid's Desert Kingdom, it would be such a tragedy to not bring them over. The Grand Arena provides entertainment for players regularly and is truly intended as a community build, and Lucid's desert kingdom is an amazing place to explore a frankly glorious build, find inspiration for your own builds, and really show off just how great builds on Simplex can be!

I nominate the Griefer beacon as it has helped to bottle neck griefers and cause lots of shinanagins while its been up.

Julici0us has an amazing town that has had support from some of simplex's most noteworthy players. The whole town is extremely large, which is a bit of a problem for other towns (like my own). But Julici0us has two builds that are so impressive to me, that I think they deserve to be transferred in their entirety. These would be Julici0us' Manor and the Cake Church. The manor looks straight out of a movie, and exploring its twisting and turning halls is phenomenal. Each room is decorated and lived in, you can tell its a build where players have hung out and enjoyed being a part of the community. Second picture is of the cake church, which has stained glass that would make the pope faint with envy. Coordinates to Robot Town: 24053, 74, 6143 Manor Cake Church Photos taken by Julici0us

Yes!!! Juls manor 100%. The whole town itself is a work of art with so many players having their own houses (me included). But it would be super super cool to see just a little bit of the town saved. There are a lot of secret passageways and it’s fun to try to see where you turn up when you go in a tunnel.

Build: Duck's Book House Collection. Cords: 14028, -13592 (It's underground) Reason: Duck has spent at least a year or more, along with his collection staff, collecting, documenting, mapping, and locating simplex History. It would be disappointing if all this work meant to show off everything community was to just vanish. Duck has more than just books in this collection, he also got some Skulls, a Zoo, Map Displays, Banners, Rare Items, Map Art, and other things. When we reset, this will provide lots of info about the 1st Simplex without having to track down old players. Attachments:

Voted for the racetrack and arena. Both are imo community builds that would be cool to have close together. Both serve the server as a place for monthly activities.
I didn't voted for the library/collection because it's history and not about simplex 2.0. Even it's a great collection.

But yeah for something like a new game district those 2 builds could be the start of it. Simplex would not be the same without the grand arena matches!

I would also like to nominate Squee's Castle, coordinates: x:8080 y:92 z: 5123. The castle was one of the first buildings on Simplex. It has extraordinary scale and beautiful details. The player doesn't play Minecraft anymore. The building could be saved into the new world at a historical site for players to visit.
