Helpers who do not deserve their rank

just speaking in general here and not speaking for all helpers, just myself. i understand people are here to have fun and everyone's actions on the server cannot always conform to a specific set of rules. The rules however may not cover everything and cannot always be taken literally. I believe It is our jobs as helpers to keep the server enjoyable for everyone by enforcing the rules and making judgement calls when things may be in question. I have witnessed people breaking the rules of the server and have not taken action. people spam chat all the time for example but i don't feel the need to mute them or even warn them because overall everyone is having fun. when people are ignoring warnings, are hacking or cheating, or are otherwise being disruptive and ruining the game for others, i believe action need to be taken.
Regarding these players, they are VERY disruptive. they say inappropriate things in chat and when they are online the overall "mood" of the server changes. people were even arguing with them as witnessed in this last incident and apparently one of them was killing another player and not letting them retrieve their items. they ignore warnings, bend rules, complain, and a previous mute clearly has not changed their behavior. i believe the things they post and claim to be "dark humor" have no place on this server. While not against the rules it is my judgement call. As i mentioned earlier, the only actions I've taken as helper have been muting people in this little group, which should say something. I continue to stand by my mute and support tacos mute/ban.
I believe the issue here is that when promoted as helper there should have been a higher level of trust shown towards our decisions by the admins. Having our actions reversed is as you say "a slap in the face." The fact that they continue to cause problems further supports my initial mute and tacos mute/ban. I'm all for giving people second chances, but these guys either don't understand or more likely just don't care about their actions on this server. This is a new server and we are all learning. just saying... Tacos, you should not give up on being helper and admins, you promoted us to helper for a reason, please trust and support our actions in the future.
