Hi there.
In order to keep the server in a semi-vanilla setting, there is a limit on how many warps there are. A warp to your town is not needed. If you want to get people to live in your town, you might as well just advertise in chat. Meehan does not want too many warps, either.
Warps are put in place for player needs, not wants. For example, /warp farm takes you to the community farm. You can get wood and crops there. /warp shop takes you to the shopping district if you want to buy items. As an alternative, you can try making nether portals in the overworld that links to your town.
Anyway, if I see you online, I would like to see your town, if that's fine with you
