Ive lately had my most precious villager despawn, and I've had villagers despawn from my iron farms. Its the 4th time I have villagers despawn from my iron farms and the 2nd time I have villagers despawn from my trading hall. I've pretty much had it with villagers despawning as it's extremely aggravating and it puts me in a real upset mood. I have no control of them despawning and yes, I know the chunk entity limit, I had 24 in a chunk in my trading hall which is no where near limit and they were all named. I have 3 villagers max per chunk in my iron farms and all named yet they still despawn. I ask if they could be respawned and for future cases as well.

You are not the only one here. Earlier, I saw in chat that Chewy had this same problem too, even nametagged villagers were despawning as well. I even tried looking this problem up but none of the results were helpful. I think this happened to others as well honestly

Have not had one problem with them, area is well lit, I did read somewhere about you have to have a chunk between the trading hall. So I will try that to see if it helps as mine has been going for just a couple of weeks to see if they disappear again. If that fails then may change the size maybe because of mob spawns. Dont know though.

I've had the same problem. Two of my librarians and one of my farmers have managed to disappear.

Suggestions for people suffering from this problem: make sure your villagers are in a chunk with as few entities as possible, the entity chunk limit may be having a profound effect. If you have a villager breeder (as I have, and have tested this) make sure that you have the center point of the breeder in four chunks, to best bypass the entity limit. While not a perfect fix, it'll do for now until the Staff can find a better workaround/fix.
