Hey, everybody. You may have seen me on the server as LucidFlight or Lucid. I look after the desert area north of spawn, where I've built a few houses and stuff. You'll usually find me there tinkering around.

I've been fairly active on Simplex for a couple of years now and seen players come and go — and gotten to know quite a few of the regulars, often chatting about random things in chat. What attracted me to Simplex was its semi-vanilla setup. What made me stay is the really good community and mix of players young and old. I think the time has come for me to give back a little bit and help out where I can. As a helper, I can do my bit to ensure everyone has a pleasant-as-possible experience while they're on the server. If I have to /kick a troll, I'll /kick a troll, gosh darn it!

My previous experience has seen me moderate some modestly active servers (usually between 20 to 60 players online at any one time), building spawns, and testing FTB (Feed The Beast) mod packs. In real life, my aim is to treat people with diplomacy and respect. My approach is to be as fair and rational as possible in dealing with any given situation. Hopefully, I can bring some of my diplomatic skills to use as a helper for Simplex.

Being the long time player that you are I imagine that you care about your builds and the players on the server. I have no doubt you'll be able to deal with any "trouble" players and can deal with the stress that they throw at you since your occupation is essentially playing the middle man between clients and the inner circle that you are apart, wherever you work at.
