What Teapot server has taught us....

Some of you may know MisterTeapot had a temp server up. For communication and maybe to give us our minecraft fix with people we know. But what did it not intend to do but did? two things: bring people closer for one. You know not what you have till it is a true blue vanilla server. you have to rely on thy neighbor or be killed 10 times in a row because its night time and scary and you're starving to death. "everyoneville" was such a success! for those who didn't join, we found a village and took it over as our own. worked together and expanded it. Second: TRUST, the server had no protections. PvP was on. and you know what happened? WE SHARED AND RESPECTED EACH OTHER! I know that sounds like such a strange and foreign concept. All these things will be taken back with us to Simplex. Trust and Respect. With last week's crash I think some people lost those. Point of this post: if you find an unclaimed home, be the better person and tell someone about it without taking things, because it is possible to actually play nicely and have fun at the same time.
