Hey so I got on the server today, 11/6/2018 to go mining real quick so i could regain the diamond armor I lost in the wilderness and the elytra i also lost in the wilderness. I'm not a noob to mine craft but up until last Sunday, i did not know much about mining because i always built and didn't go for large ore purges often. I don't know of the server log has record of this but on Sunday i had a conversation with some other players on what is the best level to mine diamonds on, that was my goal, to mine diamonds, and to mine other ores in the way because they were also valuable. The answer i got was that it is best to mine diamonds on the Y=11 Y=12 Y=13 levels because that is where diamonds best spawn. So today i decided to mine some before i was going to go to bed. I am doing strip mining and wasted about 2 or three iron picks on fruitless efforts so i decided to go into random mining in 1 by 2 self-made passage ways. My method was that if i mined in one direction for a while and found nothing, i would simply turn and start mining in a different direction. I did do and only found 11 diamonds, 11!!! I complained in the chat and Kenobi one of the moderators started tracking me, this happened with meehan miner i believe on Sunday and he reset my speed limit but i don't know what kenobi was thinking but i realize that my mining efforts raised a few red flags but there is still proof in my tunnel that what I'm saying is true. I would like to add one more IMPORTANT NOTE, my "random" mining was not really that random. For someone who does not know what i am doing and has no context for my ambitions behind it, it could look random. I don't like Andesite, granite, and that other one that i wont attempt to spell. My pain was that if i wanted stuff in my inventory, i didn't want that and gravel and dirt in my way to slow me down or clutter up my inventory, and i had lava in my inventory which i used to burn it and some of my cobblestone because i have overflowing chests of it at my base. i still kept some cobble though.
Now that i am done stating my story (lets be honest, someone probably skipped over it) I'm going to refine the facts, for and against my case.
FOR: I did do strip mining (reason for stopping it: I was bored + at the expense of too many iron picks, ones that i was running out of and didn't have.)
Some of my "random mining" was me avoiding blocks i didn't want to mine.
Many of the ores i did mine, i literally stumbles upon, ones like coal, i ignored and mined through it because i did not have the time or the iron picks and i had gobs of it in my base.
I was mining on the levels of 11<Y>13 (Please tell me you understand what that means.) This is ideal Y levels for diamonds to spawn.
I had a one-track-mind set only on achieving diamonds to get my valuable armor back.
Come on man, i only got 11 diamonds before i got banned??? If i had a wopping 2 stacks of diamonds by the end of the 30 minutes i actually did use to mine then you guys would have something against me.
Lets throw another fact into the mix: 1) There are barely any X-ray mods for 1.13.2 out there right now, believe me, its a new game mode and mods are hard to create, (ive worked in java and java script). 2) This is more of an honor based statement and you guys will have to believe me on this. I am a man of integrity, I wouldnt cheat on this server, I know this statement seems flawed because i was so desparate to get my armor back that i was reverse shopping to get it last April and i have learned my lesson. I honestly didnt know that was against the rules but i was informed when i got temp banned for that.
When i saw Kenobi for the first time, i said hi and kept on mining, i didnt stop for an unusually long time to "toggle my x-ray" i kept on mining. I had nothing to be ashamed about, i have nothing to hide. I'm convicted of a crime i didn't commit.
When Kenobi was shadowing me, he only saw me stumbling over other ores in pursuit for diamonds, he NEVER SAW ME MINE ONE BLOCK OF TH ORE THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. (the caps lock is so your attention is drawn to it, in no way am i meaning to be disrespectful to anyone in authority. I am angry for being banned over a false offense tho, but if i have offended anyone or if anyone percieves me as being disrespectful, then i sincerely apologise and can only hope you forgive me.)
AGAINST: I stopped doing strip mining and resorted to 1x2 hallway self-made mine shafts. Random mining red flag for my system of altered directions???
Kenobi saw me literally stumble on redstone while i did a mini splurge of strip mining and that is when he went afk before i got banned. I know this could mean a red flag for x-ray but i literally dug 2 mine shafts with nothing around me and then the third i found redstone.
Kenobi followed my mining pattern, he didnt know i was avoiding unwanted blocks. but on his side, RED FLAAAAG!!! rAnDom MInInG!!!!

Again, no disrespect was meant in this appeal, i am very unhappy for being accused for such a crime and being banned for it though. Please act quickly, If i have to serve time for a crime i didn't commit, then you guys owe me a double jeopardy pardon. If i serve out my time, then i get to download an ACTUAL X-ray mod and i get 30 minutes of diamond mining with no punishment because i served in advance. Like the movie Double Jeopardy. Im JUST KIDDING THOUGH. I wouldn't actually do that though, hahaha. I care about this server and even though that would be a funny concept, I wouldn't do it. The reason i made a case against myself is because i know i did nothing wrong so im just pointing out the thought process of whoever banned me. I know i did do that and i have nothing to be scared of. Thank you though to whoever banned me though, i am so grateful that you have caused me to waste one hour of my precious time writing this appeal to a ban that i am suffering from for an offense i didnt even commit. Im serious! Not happy. Please try to get better anti cheat detection software or take more time in your decision making. I could have gotten so much homework done during this time but no, i had to do this instead because i didnt want to be punished for something i did not do. Thank you for wasting my time (no offense meant but seriously though). But here is a sincere statement of gratitude--just as sincere as the last one but i suspect that you will take more kindly to this one--Thank you for raising my awareness towards my mining patterns. I will change them for the future so more of my time isnt wasted on a plea like this one. And finally thank you for your time and consideration for this appeal. I expect to be unbanned by 6:00 EST on 11/7/2018 just because this is a fast, hardworking, and well-put-together society run by great staff.
