Today, while looking at all the animal farms we were building, Beta suggested a petition to remove EntityWatch. EntityWatch is a plugin that despawns non-pet mobs if there are too many in one area. It hinders more than it helps by despawning animals from our farms, and despawning our items too quickly when we die. I don't think many would use animals to crash the server, or lag it insanely. I think it just doesn't belong and isn't helping as much as a plugin should. #BurnEntityWatch

if there are more then a handful of animals in your farm at any given point, you're doing it wrong. start with 2 and get up to 6. then make them have 3 babies. after the babies are made kill 3 adults, cont. on that way. there is no need to keep so many animals other then sheep. but i've kept like 20 sheep in an area and was fine. if your end goal is to lag the server and be a jerk, thats when you want a bunch of animals. why keep so many and not kill them? to look at? then its not really a farm, its a zoo. really.
