So after the fire burned down the res, the management of the place decided that it has played its last game. A week or so later the place was under construction, and now it is done! Renamed as "the rez", this place offers many more options in what you can do.
Here is a brief summary:
1- Timmed modes! Unlike the res, in the rez you can chose between 3, 5, and 8 min matches.
2- Full bright mode! When you are choosing how you want to play you can turn on Full bright mode. This means that when the match starts the lights don't go out.
3- A computer! In the building there are 2 computers (cause you know budget). With one you can control which light is on when the others are off. With the other you can unlock a secret.
4- An exit! This will be helpful incase the building ever catches on fire again.
5- A restroom! Cause apparently people "need" these things.
6- A kitchen! Cause hey you know food!
7- Spooky ambient noises! Everyone loves these!
8- Ventilation! What will you find up there? Bugs? Gifts? Who knows!
9- A sewer! A place where you can trap yourself!
10- Single player! In this mode it is your task to collect 24 "keys" scattered around the building, and just toss them into the glass furnace! Don't bother worrying what the keys are to. That is for us to know and you to not tell anyone about them!
And many more! But you just have to play to find out! We are Hosting an opening event where you (Yes, you!) get to walk around inside the building for 8 mins before we ask you to leave! The event is starting at 10:00 AM, CST, saturday december 15th! To get there you need to walk north and slightly west of spawn. There is a portal to the left of franks shop, enter it. From there follow the ION rail line till you get to a turn. Go left, heading to the Game District. When you get to the Game District station, hop out and follow the path. You will see a LARGE nether portal, enter it. You will now be in the Game District. To get to the rez go down the stairs in front of the portal, turn right, go down more stairs, and more stairs, and then you will arrive. Not so hard was it? There is a sethome block near the portal back at the top of the stairs if you wish to. So thanks for reading and hope to see you this saturday at 10AM CST at the rez!
