Hmm...yes, It seems my game has updated to 1.9.4 and I am unable to log in to the server...As I am inexperienced in such matters, I was also wondering what the protocol is for these circumstances...do we wait for the server to update? or is there perhaps a way to launch a previous game version through the MC Launcher application?

Hey peeps, if, on the home page of the minecraft launcher, click on 'Profile editor' (next to 'Update Logs and launcher log), then double click on the bar that has your username and version it should come up with a user menu, go down to 'Use version' and scroll through to 1.9.2, click save profile and that should do it
