I noticed how towns on most smps quickly die out because players join, build and then leave. i want to try changing that.
What is it?
the concept is simple: you live in a communal house and you have a job in the town we ask you to be dedicated to.
there's three jobs:
-farmers, who provide the only food and wood source for the town (no external purchases can be made to progress the town, everything must be done within the group itself)
-miners, who provide the ores and stone (diamonds will be divided among the whole town depending on each player's productivity, the exess will be stored in the town's bank in case the town needs it.
-managers, who manage the material output, fix creeper holes and keep the farmers safe while they work.
How will it work?
Each job will have its own uniform, to make sure everyone is equal and working as a group.
There might be a decided shift, where we all gather for an in game week or so to work.
These weeks will start with a discussion on the tasks for the bulletin board.
Members are allowed to have their own base outside of Mineco.
Can i join?
the member list will change monthly, people that want to rejoin are allowed to.
there's a chance we expand if the member list grows past the capacity of the town. if this happens, three or so people one of each job, will pack up materials for a couple tents/huts and move to a location far away from the town, the connection between these two towns will still be maintained but they will be mostly independent.

I know this seems like a complicated task but once again, it's an experiment and you don't have to be 100% dedicated.
