How to, Info and Rules
Monthly Match
Joining: Around the 1st Saturday of each month a forum post will be made (and announced in the servers and on several discords) detailing the type of match it will be and any details about that match such as the prize. To join a match simply show up at the designated time with nothing in your inventory (unless otherwise stated)
Watching: If you would like to watch the Monthly Match but not participate in it, you will be able to type /warp event(# will be decided on match day) during the match and be teleported inside the Grand Arena to an observation deck. While in this observation deck do NOT fight each other. If you become an annoyance to other players by attacking/killing them, you will get jailed for the remainder of the match.
Recording: Monthly matches are typically recorded and posted to YT so players who wanted to watch but were not able to will still get the chance to watch how the match went from Choo's perspective.
Donations: If you would like to make a donation to be added to the prize of the Monthly Grand Arena match, please contact Choo_Imperium. Your donation will be added to the next months arena match (unless you state otherwise) and you will get a shoutout either before or after the match. You will also get a mention in the Video recording.
Cheating: If found out to have cheated during the monthly match, your winnings will be taken from you (This includes Skull Awards) and you will be barred from participating in future Monthly Matches until the GM deems that you are no longer going to cheat. Examples of cheating: Bringing in outside items, having someone not in the match give you items during the match, teleporting either you or others in and/or out of the arena when you are not allowed to, getting help from players not fighting in the Arena Match (Other than the GM), using hacks, using mod settings that are not allowed in the matches (ex: Player Radar, Full bright), and other forms of cheating not described in this forum post. You will face server punishment depending on the severity of cheating.
Influencing Matchmaking: Attempts to influence the amount of players for your own benefit is NOT allowed. Doing so will result in your winnings being taken from you (This includes Skull Awards) and you will be barred from participating in future Monthly Matches. Examples of this include bribing players to NOT fight in the arena match, bribing players to fight in the arena match and then die on purpose, creating a pre-arranged agreement with another player(s) to team (even if the GM says no teaming is allowed) for one of y'all to win and then to split the prize amongst each other, and other forms of influencing the match that are not described in this forum post.
How to, Info and Rules
Welcome to the Grand Arena! In this guide (last updated February 27th, 2023) I will explain how each type of monthly matches work along with Open-PvP and some additional info such as Trophy Rewards. As time moves on I will be updating this with new info and rules.
Monthly Match
If you are participating in a monthly match, scroll down until you find the post that details the type of match you are interested in participating in.

Awards: There are currently 8 Awards, these are bonus prizes that looks like a sword on a box. Not all of them can be earned in an arena match, and some take multiple arena matches to get. Here is some info on how to get each one. (New awards only apply to new occurrences, EX: You have done something that would result in an award before the award existed, you do not get the award)
Wooden: Take a Guided Tour of the Grand Arena
Iron: Participate in a Grand Arena PvP Match. (Old: Pay the AFR Fee)
Gold: Win a Grand Arena PvP Match.
Diamond: Kill 10 players total.
Emerald: UNKNOWN
Rainbow: UNKNOWN
Netherrite: Win a match but die before you are announced the winner.
"Blank": UNKOWN
"Blood": Host 1 Grand Arena Match.

Want to fight in the Grand Arena without any restrictions or limitations? Want to fight someone while both of y'all are flying around with an elytra the whole time? Or maybe you and your friends want to have your own type of pvp match in a bigger pvp arena than what is offered at /warp pvp. Then Open Grand Arena PvP is the type of pvp for you!
How does this work?: Whenever you see Choo_Imperium online then you and your friends can ask Choo if she would be willing to turn on the Grand Arena PvP. If Choo accepts, you can teleport to her to arrive at the Grand Arena surface. Choo will turn on PvP and you and your friends can fight each other all you want. Be sure to keep track of where you are in the arena though, if you die it is up to you and your friends to go get your items back. YOUR ITEMS WILL DESPAWN IF YOU DO NOT GET BACK TO THEM IN TIME! Know how to get your items back if you die in a lava pit, a powered snow pit, a pitfall pit, etc. Neither Choo nor the Grand Arena is responsible for any lost items. Once you and your friends are done fighting each other, inform Choo so that she can turn the PvP off again. If Choo has to leave she will inform y'all that they are turning the PvP off and then turn it off.
Open Grand Arena PvP is not available 3 Hours before and 1 Hour after Monthly Matches.
