Heya everyone!
I have noticed a lot of mixed vibes when I changed my name from: Mauhulakh to Dradun. The main thing is I wanted to change it for a longer time. Mauhulakh was an orcish name from the past wich I took because of roleplay purposes.
But on simplex I am not known for my blackspeech (language that orcs speak according to J.R.R. Tolkien) the name did no longer made sense and after the reset I wanted to change my name allready but did not feel right to do so. Mauhulakh was just an orc with no backgroundstory (unless u played skyrim lmao) or alternitave skins for seasons or other special occasions. So that was allready a thing that I disliked a lot.
Dradun is a golem name (a golem made by humans). The name on its own does not ring any bells or what so ever but it has a story behind it:
Ages ago a noble blacksmith whowas capable of forging every weapon and infusing it with magic. But the blacksmith grew older every day. His back did not keep up anymore, everyday working at his forge.
The blacksmith decided to craft himself a golem that was capable of doing the work for him. So one day he gathered all the materials he could get. He crafted every single plate of metal and wielded it together.
He knew that the metal he used was weak because it had been somewhere outside of his forge. So the blacksmith used one of his most dangerous infusing magic to awaken/reinforce the golem he had build.
He took a book from one of his bookshelfs and begun with the imbueing of the golem. There was some light around the blacksmith and a mysterious humming sound was with the blacksmith. The sound became more clear and the light became very bright.
The blacksmith could not withstand it and he closed his eyes, even this did help a bit during the process. The light slowly faded away with the sound. Everything became silent.
The blacksmith opened his eyes, he saw a stonelike being where his golem was before. The blacksmith saw at the place where normally a heart would go a very small light. At first he could not believe his eyes.
He placed his hand on the golem and suddenly the golem awakend. With tears of joy the humble blacksmith smiled at the golem. Dradun! thats what I am calling you. The golem looked at the blacksmith and began to walk slowly around.
The next day the Blacksmith teached Dradun everything he knew about making tools and infusing them. Dradun picked up everything fairly quick. The blacksmith decided allready to keep track of Dradun's work.
The blackmsith gave him a final task to make sure the Blacksmith could retire. He asked Dradun to make to most durable hammer that he could craft. And so Dradun started gathering rescources. He even gathered small bits of crystals,
and used the hardest steel he could find. He smelted it all together to a very strange liquid. He poured the liguid into a mold and made sure it was not to hot anymore. He removed the mold while the blacksmith was mumbling all kinds of weird words.
Dradun held the hammer but was not statisfied and imbued it with magic. The hammer was a sturdy looking one, perfect for Dradun to forge his own tools with. The blacksmith saw the hammer and said: 'this hammer looks like it has been made from the earth itself,
so allow me to name it Geode Gavel'.
Dradun lifted it and the hammer started to glow magically, and reflected the fire of the forge itself. The blacksmith was pleased with the result and gave the forge to Dradun becuase he knew it was in the right hands. The humble blacksmith left his forge, Dradun never saw his creator,
ever again. But the lagacy of the humble blacksmith lived on in all the weapons, armor and tools Dradun made.
This story made more sense in what I do and how I play minecraft. Weapons, tools and armor are my kind of thing. Without them u are nowhere in minecraft. I thought that this makes now more sense to you guys.
