Punishment and Duration: Jailed for 7 days
Reason: I traded items in the shopping district that I thought were the right items to then be jailed for such silly actions of accidental stealing (silly on my behalf). These items were being sold for 1D (I think??) but I thought they wanted to buy them for 1D since the items were next to other items that the shop owner wanted to buy and there were only diamonds in the chest (I traded 8 of the item 8 Diamonds), obviously I didn't read the signs properly. I also live in a different time zone from most staff (Australia, Perth WA time zone UTC / GTM +8) which apparently really doesn't help the situation. Also, Yes I know I am in the wrong in the situation though I feel I was unrightfully justified, as a staff member even said to me "The fact you have been jailed for 7 days tells me this wasn't one small theft," they didn't know the situation but assumed I had committed a large crime, though it really doesn't seem like I did does it??
Appeal: (appeal below.)
I am really sorry for this crime I have committed this time around as it was also very silly of me (just like my last crime). Yes, I am a repeat offender of my own stupid actions of not reading signs properly as of why I am jailed (not the main reason), as well as accidental stealing though I don't believe I should be Jailed, or at least should have been mailed or given any way to redeem myself for my actions before being Jailed; I feel as though that kind of thing should of happened (am I wrong?).
It was a minor inconvenience on my behalf that I caused not putting the right items in a chest in the shopping district at Choo's shop (as I thought it said otherwise and that my actions were correct, though they weren't) but, couldn't I have been warned in anyway, shape or form to put said items back into their respected places to then be asked if I wasn't compliant or such I would receive jail time (or some scenario like that, ↓ below). This makes me feel unrightfully contested upon, as I (as a person) would have really regretted my actions if I was said this straight to my face "You have stolen" and "Please put the items back or you will be jailed!" I have even seen people in chat who are in jail say "Why was I jailed?" and then arguing as a perpetrator as well as swearing at people, just be told "Well if you really want to be unjailed put the stuff back and all is fine." I believe I should've had this chance to talk the situation out too; may I?
I am mainly annoyed about this situation as I was never told to fix my actions (which were a mistake!) to then be jailed as I made the silly mistake of accidental stealing where the situation (I feel) could have just been:
Helper: "alan_sama you have stolen from (such and such) if these items aren't returned or you aren't complaint you will surely be jailed."
Me: "Wait oh that was very stupid of me, I didn't read the signs again and got jailed for it but, I WILL put the items back."
If the situation was such, isn't that easier for everyone? My offence was an accident and I hope anyone who reads this doesn't think I am telling you to rewrite the rules for people who are about to or are jailed. Thank you very much for reading my entire Jail Appeal, also apparently I have become an avid Jail Appeal writer, which is not a good thing but, I have become such. Have a great rest of your day!
