Hi, so a wither I spawned disappeared, I have no idea how it could've died naturally and I think it was somehow despawned by the server.
I spawned in a wither (unnamed) for my poison spider-wither rose farm. It was alive and killing the spiders under about 15 mins. Even tho the spiders was doing a little bit of damage the wither just regen'd itself. After that, when I wasn't looking at the health bar for like 10 seconds, it disappeared. The wither was standing in a 3x2x4 chamber and the spiders was locked behind a fence gate (See image). I don't think anything could've dealt that much damage to it under 10 seconds. Also according to minecraft wiki a wither always drops a nether star when it's killed but I didn't find a nether star in my collection system (the wither is standing on hoppers and they are linked correctly), which is also a reason why I think it died by "unnatural" causes. Now there was a lot of spiders in the chunk since I'm using a 3 spawner set up, the wither is not that fast at killing and the spider transporting system is pretty slow (in the same chunk). Therefore I suspect the entity limit has something to do with this. I'm not that sure how it works tho so I could be wrong here but; I think because there's too many entities in that chunk, the server starts to despawn random entities and that's how the wither disappeared. (I've had similar experiences with a dog and a parrot disappearing with a lot of sheep nearby but that's not important atm.)
So do you think that this is actually what happend? Is this intended? If not pls fix when you have time tyvm, and if it is, why? Does naming it make any difference? Do ask me if there is anything that's unclear.
Thanks in advance,
Midsirl
