Appeal: First off I want to know how I was xraying when I wasn't, so I literally don't know what else to say, the moment I was banned I was building, I was using litematica while I was building. I want proof or something because i wasnt doing anything wrong.

Well you were right on the part where you were building when tempban was issued but it was your past action that led to the decision. Based on pics provided below i determined it was examples of your xray. the honey blocks are where the diamond ore used to be. (pics may be out of order time wise) 1st and 2nd pic there was single diamond ore exposed under the gravel. this would have been visible trough xray 3rd pic you were at some other player's mine when you dug trough stone to get the diamond ore. 4th pic you saw the ores on right and dug straight to it, and continued to dig on. i checked your block break times and you first went for the diamond then went back and continued. You could argue that you "heard" lava and dug towards it but on 5th pic you dug way out to get those diamond ores, i find it hard to believe you heard the lava all the way over there since there was lava right where you dug before. also that was the only time you dug further ahead for no reason, breaking from normal pattern you were doing before. you also did this with spawner, breaking from mining method and digging right to the spawner. If you can convince me those were legit mines then i will gladly unban you. |

I'll tell this to you then, I also have voxel minimap and on the minimap is has cave view so when im underground i can see caves, so i simply mine towards then as i know caves often have diamonds inside.

well cave minimap isn't allowed on server so that doesn't help your case.

Well, then I suggest you unload Voxel or remove caves from the map, because that is not allowed on this server. One of the reasons why is exactly this, you can use it to find stuff, which gives you an unfair advantage over other players and the vanilla minecraft experience. |

Well it doesnt tell me where diamonds are just the caves i can still go through many caves and find nothing, however i think there is a setting that i can change to only show the over view in the settings i will change that.
Also your rules dont specify im not allowed to use minimap, it says not hacking/cheating and using a feature as caves imo isnt cheating, if you class it as cheating you should have it under the rules. But that proves i wasnt xraying so the reason of ban is wrong, if im staying banned for a week for not knowing a feature isnt allowed thats a bit dumb.

Your arguments and "what about"s ring hollow, in that context.

I tried to join on al alt to ask why i was banned for xray when i wasnt hacking, how else was i suppose to ask you refused to talk to my friend. So basically what youre saying here is minimaps are bannable. Should make that its own rule. Like i said i was banned for xray and thats a lie, yet im still banned because you guys class minimap as hacking, yet no other servers ive ever played on classes it as hacking. |

What i really see here is admins banning for unjust reasons because they are "suspicious" of a player then when the player declares their innocence you blatantly ignore they plead and still sentence them to a ban when their rules arent specific to what they class as "cheating".

We, the staff team, will always listen to ban/jail appeals.
Providing the reasons given in an appeal are valid, we are always willing to reduce and/or revoke any punishments.(As evidenced by the number other successful appeals.)
From what I can see, you’ve cheated your way to open caves which lead to Ores.
That’s one broken rule.
You then decide to use an Alt account, rather than appealing on the forums.
That’s another broken rule.
You’re now refusing to accept the evidence provided whilst also being rude towards the people trying to help you.
Please reconsider your approach here.

In the real world when people are wrong they will atleast admit they were wrong. no one ever admitted they were wrong about me using xray no one ever said anything no one spoke to me at all, literally if you would have asked me about how i found the caves i would have told you as i didnt class it as cheating nor does any server but this one, i literally got banned without warning without anything. as it was you guys were warning someone on the server about using fly hacks but i never got spoke to or anything all i got was a ban, no communication no questions no nothing just a ban yet fly hacking was a verbal warning first? thats fair? |

This was on our end, it should be easier for banned players to find the forum url. Also, staff never bans without a good reason. In this case we are multiple staff members who all agrees on this, by individually looking over the mines and the evidence. When we(staff) agree on and have enough evidence to back up a player cheating, we execute the appropriate punishment. As many diamond ores were already mined, the damage had already been done. Your one week tempban is your warning, next time it will be a permanent ban. For players using hacks like trying to fly, we do ban them permanently most of the time, without any warning. When we are unsure (ie. player just triggering anti-cheat checks without any proper evidence), we some times talk to the players to see how they respond, to get a feeling about the player and if they are here to actually play the game or not. For that specific case you witnessed in chat, I don't remember the exact outcome. If you still don't get why you were tempbanned, you would just have to get over it and come back without cheats or cave maps. As we can't keep this forum thread going for the entire week of your tempban. |
