Just an idea given that more and more people seem to use mods or mod clients these days; Perhaps we can have a list of allowed and disallowed mods somewhere? Disallowed mods could have the reason they're disallowed stated.
For example:

I want to add on mini map. Having way points, mob tracker, and death location is also not allowed. I mean that shit was an example I wrote up as I went, but waypoints are fine..? They're the same as writing a list of coordinates, except that you can easily identify where that location is in game instead of having to look at your coordinates to see if you're going the right way. Auto death waypoints are a different story though. Anyway, if y'all (staff) wanna do this, up to you guys to make the list. I'm just here making the suggestion.

I like the idea, it's a good suggestion. However, my problem with this is that I don't know a lot about different types of modded clients and "hacked" clients, so it's impossible for me to come up with a complete list. Ofc the usual "no caves maps" and "no xray" is easy, but stuff like Badilion I don't really know what does. Would need to spent time reading up on common mods/clients I guess, if I were to add something like this.

You could just have a list of the only whitelisted mods, then all other mods are either banned or will be considered on a case by case basis. Mods can be added as desired
