So a player who has the username _Kellyyy_ has been muted, and I've been communicating with them through signs and apparently they were sign-communicating to Phleanix (H+ Staff) who left before they typed down the sign stating that they have ADHD and Tourette's. I've tried to convince them to make an appeal but apparently their parents won't allow it, and we've been waiting for a staff member to log on Simplex but none of us have seen one yet. So I made this.
I'm just wondering if they could be unmuted because of mental illness, or if they need to provide proof of some sort. I'm also wondering if a special "in-game appeal" (sign-communication) could be made if a staff was online because they're not allowed to appeal on the forums, as I know that staff usually don't allow players to appeal for other players.

Whilst they may well have a condition that they are working through, that doesn't give them the right to be excused from following the rules.
They have had multiple complaints made against them across multiple days/weeks.
Part of our job as a Staff Team is to protect the players from unwanted behaviour. To remove _Kellyyy_'s mute would be to inflict more of their unwanted behaviour on our players.
Whilst we must be mindful of other people's struggles, they must also be mindful of how their actions (Intentional, or otherwise) can affect others and take ownership over that. They have not been banned/jailed. They are still able to play on the server. We have removed their access to the feature that they were, essentially, abusing.
At this point, regardless of the reasons behind their actions, I am unwilling to unmute _Kellyyy_ until I've seen that they are able to act in a mature and appropriate way on the server.
Kind Regards, Phleanix
