Got a suggestion/question so since new players can not go to the shopping district until they have obtained enough votes and there is the option of the end shops but what if there was a minature shop kinda thing at spawn that was redstone related that only players that can not access the shopping district can access this redstone mini shop sells tools and other useful bits and Bob's for these players and you could even make it so players above ameture or whatever the rank to access the shopping district can not access it and can only donate items I think this could be a really great idea and the items would be diamond related in price and that is all I have to say

End shops?? sounds dangerous!!!
I second that on the spawn mini shop.. good idea since they have no clue how to get to the nether shops.

Anyway, I'm not sure I like this idea for several reasons. I want to keep spawn clean, without shops and other unnessecary things. If this were going inside spawn, server staff would have to run the shops which I dont like. Would mean more work for staff, and will also mean that the server provides items for sale which is further away from vanilla minecraft. We cant simply rely on donations if we were to run such a thing, donations will dry out at some point and then staff members will have to provide items from their own bases. It will basically be shops ran by staff members in the end. Another thing is, new players probably dont have too many diamonds to buy things for anyway. Also, if they vote three times a day, they can access the shopping district in 6 days. During those 6 days I'm sure they can manage gathering things themself, as this is vanilla minecraft after all. There is also the option of asking in chat if someone has items to trade. Thanks for the suggestion, but I dont think shops at spawn will be a thing. /SnuRRe |
