I believe that streaming in the Simplex Discord should be allowed. I have asked Choo why it is not allowed, he said it is to difficult to moderate. This does make since in a way, but I think that the Simplex community should/would be responsible enough to do the right thing. And even if it stays banned, what about the new activity feature? You can watch YouTube with everyone now, which I believe to be just as hard, if not more, difficult to moderate. It would be pretty cool to see somebody's creative world live, instead of sending a few photos. Maybe we could try it, for a little bit and see how it goes, I just think that most people would also want to be able to stream in the discord servers. Thank you for your time.

I fully agree. It was very annoying to have to jump back and fourth when trying to set up litematica. And I am also unable to show people farms and other important things that might be going on in the server.

It would be too difficult to moderate. Ideally there would have to be a staff member there watching your stream the entire time its active. Its unrealistic.
More realistically I imagine they would only join the stream after getting reports from someone that what is being streamed is not related to the server in anyway. Then they would take action or not depending on what they see.
Its also a matter of manpower, and trust too. Staff doesn't trust the community to be left on its own when they don't have good enough tools to moderate streams. I can tolerate how things are now but I get the frustration of having to move to different servers or starting a private call with someone just to share their screen.
Oh wow I just noticed the creation date on this thread. welp, I won't let my reply be wasted.
