I finally came up with a name for this day that I like. This day used to go by "Last day of Summer Events" but "Sunset Festival" sounds so much better. This is considered the last day of Summer Events and will be concluding with a Fireworks Show. A lot of stuff will be happening on this day so let me list them all out!
Starting Time: Sunday, July 30th at 12PM Texas Time. 12PM Central Daylight Time (GMT-5). 5PM GMT.
This is the time that the Event starts. Since the following events all don't have a set time limit, it is recommended that you arrive at this time to not miss out on any of the festivities!
Map Art Competition Winner
The first event will be the announcement of the Framed Map Art Competition Winners! The poll on the forums will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be given their prizes.
Drop Party #1
After the Map Art winners comes the first of two drop parties. This is basically where I stand up in a high place and drop items down to y'all and whoever picks the items up wins the items! Items can include Diamonds, Netherite, Map Art vouchers, SD Auction Vouchers, Event Trigger Books, along with any items not found during the shulker hunts!
Floating Crystal Build Comp Winner
After the 1st Drop Party I will be announcing the winner of the Floating Crystal Build Comp. The poll on the forums will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be able to mail me their prize list and receive their prizes!
Naming of the Event Area
Like the last 2 years, you the player will be able to name the event area! You can suggest a name right now by heading on over to /warp event1 and finding the Sunset Festival board. Rename an item to your name suggestion and toss it into the hopper located at the base of that board. You can submit as many name suggestions as you want, just be sure that the names are SFW and do not break any server rules. After we announce the winners of the Flying Crystal build comp, we will vote in elimination style to decide the name for the event area!
River/Waterfall Build Comp Winner
After we name the Event Area I will be announcing the winner of the River/Waterfall Build Comp. The poll on the forums will be closed and the winners will be announced. After these winners are announced they will be able to mail me their prize list and receive their prizes!

After the River/Waterfall winners comes the second drop party. I will be standing in a different high place and drop items down to y'all and whoever picks the items up wins the items! New Event Announcement
Like last year, I got a new event to announce to y'all. I don't want to spoil too much but I hope y'all are good at building!
Sunset Fireworks
And finally at Sunset I will be launching fireworks over the whole area! Watching fireworks is the perfect time for you to think back on all the memories you made this summer and its the perfect time for me to think about how I should really start working on next years area instead of leaving it all till a few days before the event starts, either way I'll hopefully be seeing you all again next Summer! Oh also, while the fireworks are going off be sure to pick up your limited edition Summer Events 2023 bonus prize which will be available if you win one of the events and for 24 hours from the start of the Sunset Festival.
