Today we had a short discussion in game chat about how to get more people to vote after god rank, and later on about non-renewable items in 1.20.
Supposedly sherds are purely decorative, but non-renewable items that are being introduced in 1.20. Lots of people will probably want these, but the supply will be very limited as such hoarders and in general wealthier players will have the advantage here.
As such my suggestion is as follows. For every x (x to be determined, not too low but also not too high) number of votes the player will receive one sherd.
This will provide players who have already reached god rank to still vote, it will allow newer people and less wealthy people to obtain sherds and it will prevent insane prices for sherds.
It would not perse dissuade people from going out there and engaging with the actual content, as long as theyre not too frequently obtained from voting.
