Introducing the Simplex Air Network – Expanding Travel and C

I’m excited to share the development of the Simplex Air Network, a system of towers reaching max build height with bubble streams designed to swiftly deliver flyers from the base to the top. So far, I’ve constructed two towers: one is located just off the Z580 road, which runs from the shopping district to my base. The second tower lies directly south, slightly off the Interstate highway system, about 2000 blocks away.
This is just the beginning! I have plans for additional towers at strategic points—2000 and 4000 blocks north, 2000 blocks east, and roughly 2000 blocks west at the shopping district. The towers are aesthetically pleasing, and while they don’t need to be overly ornate, I’ve found that with some decoration, they become quite magnificent landmarks.
I believe it would be beneficial for many players to have one of these towers easily accessible near their bases. Not only are they functional, but they also add a unique vertical element to your builds. If anyone is interested in joining this network, feel free to build additional towers! You can either follow my grid pattern or place them wherever they make the most sense for you.
Additionally, I plan to set up Redstone vending machines at the towers to sell rockets and elytra for those needing quick supplies to travel further without setting a new home. Feel free to do the same at your towers—this could be a great way to charge a premium for convenience, especially for those wanting to reach more distant destinations.
In the long run, I envision highways connecting these towers to make navigation easier, with smaller mini-towers along the routes for added convenience. I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas on expanding this network. What do you think about bringing more of these towers to our world?
