Hello fellow Simplexians,
Lately, I’ve been thinking about the sad state of the Simplex Nether. It’s full of abandoned ice paths, unfinished shops, and broken or forgotten farms. I often hear complaints about the Nether—whether it’s the empty shops, the lack of a hub, or the clutter of old farms.
I believe the solution is clear: to #SaveTheNether, we need a Nether reset.
To the players who use farms or paths in the Nether, I understand how frustrating it is to lose something you’ve worked hard on. But I ask you to see the bright side. A reset gives us the chance to rebuild and make everything even better.
Here’s my plan for the reset:
1. Nether Shops 3.0 After the reset, I or another active player can claim a large area on the Nether roof for new shops. Now I know what your thinking but this will not be like our current nether shops. This space won’t use plots, players can choose any open spot and be given the opportunity to build there. But unlike the current nether shops outdated, unstocked, and unfinished shops will be demolished leading way for new better shops in there wake.
2. Simplex Nether Hub Under the roof shops, we can build a new Nether hub together. Here players could request to have a portal be linked up to their base allowing better transportation throughout Simplex.
3. Community Farms We can also build a few shared farms near the center of the Nether, similar to what we already have in the End.
This reset wouldn’t be a loss—it would be a fresh start. It wouldn’t hurt the Nether—it would make it better. A reset is not the end, but a new beginning.
Thank you for reading. Please vote in the poll and share your thoughts below. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I've thought about how the nether can be improved but in general I wouldnt want to see anything reset even if its been abandoned since before I joined. best idea ive thought of is having the shops area moved somewhere else so they arent removed and so we can build a nether area at the nether center. it would be hardtomove an area that big though.
but for the other two things, weve had paths connecting peoples areas and there are already some public farms by the nether shops but they dont really get used. I dont think the idea to have a better nether is bad but the nether is part of the world and like any other builds and farms people have spent a lot of time on they shouldnt be deleted. Id like a new nether center though if there was a way to not remove anyones builds to make one

Let's break down your proposal.
1. Fixing the nether shops Not a bad plan, but this has already been tried once before, and didn't end up sticking. What will be done to prevent this from happening again and having the nether shops slip back into their current state of a lesser-known, theft-heavy version of the shopping district?
2. Nether hub I don't understand how this would work, nether claims extend all the way down to Y-level 0. Any people with equivalent base positions that fall under the shops or other players' farms will be out of luck.
3. Community Farms Making a community farm hub in the nether would be difficult because a lot of farms either are more easily made in the overworld (E.g. nether wart, basalt) or require properties only found in certain biomes or structures (E.g. ghast, blaze) not to mention that there are quite a few community farms as-is.
While I am not opposed to the idea of a more organized nether (ideas that stick out in my mind including a nether spawn, and potentially a warp, similar to the end) Because your proposal simply comes with the suggestion of trying to fix the shops a second time, a vague nether hub concept, and the idea to make what already exists, all of these without any guarantee of tangible results; along with the caveat of deleting all builds in the dimension, I'm going to have to vote no on this.
