In the summer two years ago, I considered starting fresh and making a new Minecraft account to once again search through the server sites for a new community after yet another server I was one of the more active players of died off. The only thing stopping me was the create username screen. I was about to close the tab and take a break from servers since I never know what to name things but then just decided to put in the name of the song I was listening to, make a new skin for the second time ever, and maybe the next day I ended up playing Simplex for twelve hours straight.
Since then, I would consider making an application at some point but it would always be something I maybe would do later. I would think of making one but then think it would be better if I stayed as a regular player and keep helping people where I can. But after passing 150 days of playtime, I've finally decided to once again make the decision and write a post here because I know I can be an active player who can keep up with chat, help other players, logblock if I'm later a Helper+, or whatever else is needed in the future. I've always liked going to help other people when they need it and hope that I can continue being someone people can go to for help, as another player and hopefully as a member of our staff group. Please give any thoughts you have as helper or not I still want to be a helpful person in our community and I know there will always be more I can improve with.

I have been waiting for this one. Sleep has been a dedicated player for the entire time I have been on Simplex. This is a 100% yes from me.

This application for me has been long awaited, and by a very deserving player of a higher role. Without any biases I do want to acknowledge how active and dedicated sleep is to this server. Every time I end up on Simplex, she is on. And when she is on, for example; if someone asks for something, needs help, she will volunteer, and I have seen this countless times. If she were to get this role as helper, I believe everyone will be happy and thankful due to all her dedication on the server. Outside of simplex she is one of the sweetest and funniest people I know and her personality will definitely be fitting. She has never done any wrong on this server, stealing, griefing, harsh words, or anything revolving around that. Thank you for coming to my Cheese Pep Talk  |

I say yes to hardtosleep as Helper! Not only is she an active player on Simplex, but one who is always readily available to help players getting started or needing help of any kind. I have seen numerous instances in chat where she welcomes and helps players new and experienced, always with a kind and friendly presence. I would definitely feel safe having her part of the Simplex staff team.

One of the main stipulations to being a helper is that you must not use your emotions when making decisions, hardtosleep will not have this issue because she doesn't have emotions in the first place. The only occasions I ever see her conveying anything other than impassivity are in regard to chocolate chip cookies, and her peculiar commitment to not sleeping. Sleep has never raised a hand nor a foul word to anyone. She just watches them from a distance, regarding them with a piercing blue gaze, colder than the desecrated snowman she wears as a crown upon her head. With this, she has shown herself to be both attentive and agreeable. These are two further traits of a Simplex helper; which is why I'll end this by saying hardtosleep for staff, go on my merry way, and hope she doesn't show up at my base again.
OKAY BUT SERIOUSLY SLEEP ARE YOU TRYING TO TAKE ON ALL MY ROLES

I'm fully onboard with this. Sleep has always tried to be helpful to people and stay out of drama and chaos. but in my opinion, one of the most important aspects to being a good staff member on simplex is being available and active and I think hardtosleep has proven to be one of, if not the most, active and online person over the last couple years. She votes a lot, and is a good representation of the kind of people we want to have playing here. Active players make for active staff, and active staff make for a well run server. hardtosleep for helper!
