I am relatively new to the server and usually just stick to myself and do my own thing. Lately however, I have noticed a lot of so called "hackers" and trolls joining the server. While most of them are harmless, they do annoy or ruin the game for others. While playing last night for example, I ran into blade. He was bragging about his hacked client, flying around, and maliciously typing code into chat trying to do something to Yarlak. I also see he is banned now. This morning I join the server and notice some new people are harassing TaurustheGemini. I believe them to be just trolls trying to get a reaction out of her. I think more staff is needed. Trying to take screenshots and posting them here isn't really an efficient way of dealing with these kinds of people. Maybe having a few more active helpers/admins with the power to "time out" or "mute" people would discourage this behavior in the future.

I agree with Marke13 completely. This kind of trolling behavior seems to increase dramatically towards the end of the month, when our Server Votes are at their highest. Now that Simplex has grown to accommodate 100 players, we will be attracting some undesirable attention.
I encourage players who meet the requirements to apply for Helper. We certainly need more people to represent different time zones, to ensure that all of our players are able to enjoy their experience here. It is not a tough job...it only requires a little maturity, a positive attitude, and the ability to objectively enforce the rules we have in place. I also encourage players to voice your opinion in regards to Helper Applications. We want to know what you think, and who you want to represent the server.
In the meantime, please, if anyone has any problems, continue to report them here in the forum, with evidence. We can only address these issues if we are aware of them.

It's been smooth for me, except one dude who was annoying as hell.

For the most part it is smooth and there is a great community here. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help others. I enjoy playing on this server very much and I would just like it to stay this way. Have you put in an application for "Server Overlord" Weena? you got my vote. ![]() I know he's already banned but I finally figured out how to upload it.  |
