Greetings folks, Ever since YaoiGirl666 posted stuff about gyms and mini games and stuff I've been wanting to make a mini-games myself for everyone to enjoy, well, I've come up with something but its not what I expected (oh well). I have this game I've been making for years, which shall remain nameless, into a Customizable Card Game similar to Magic: the Gathering, Duel Masters, or Hearthstone. There were some core mechanics that needed redone or created to help convert it but I've done it - the core part of the game is working I just need to make cards and other content so it can actually be played and tested.
The game, which I'm just going to tentatively call now - Schism, will be a huge project and it will take some time to convert all the cards from the nameless game to Schism. I have starter decks made in the nameless game which I will convert and use for the first playtest of the game I simply want to know from YOU which 2 elements you like the most. The elements will server as "factions" and each factions will have its own card pool and playstyle. The top 2 elements will determine what elements will be facing eachother in the first bout in Schism. Below I have a brief overview of each element.
Earth - Defensive utilities, life sustaining healing, control over the undead, versatility, and growth through turn by turn investments for its creatures or economy
Fire - Offensive buffs, Pure damage dealing pyromancy, great at dispatching weak and dying creatures, and will take any drawback to give itself more powerful effects
Water - Counter magic for canceling actions, taking away creatures actions through crowd control effects, damage redirection for choosing where damage goes when you take it
Wind - Supports for swarms of creatures, high risk high reward effects, evasion, plagiarism, and thievery.
