I have no words for this. I've tried to think of something to say for a while now. I never expected you to apply for the role of Helper. What can I say? Everything listed in your application is good. You seem to fit, according to your application. You have a great influence on the server, because you're known by so many players; You're a chapter of Simplex.
Something makes me abstain on this vote. I have no idea what it is, I really don't. It's an important decision to think about, either it's 'Yes' or 'No'. I'm trying about to think what wrong about you, or the application, but I cannot seem to find a reason. However, I'm abstaining anyways.

If I'd have to guess I'd say it might be because I tend to keep my distance and have a rather unplayful personality. I don't think that's the reason, because I know that you're nothing but a great guy. Your involved with the community. In other words, you ARE part of the community. In the time we've played together which was only us slaughtering eachother in the PVP arena you have been loyal and nice. Still abstaining. Going to see what other people think, because I can't make a decision like this all by myself. |

You certainly seem qualified, but a Helper needs to be helpful.
And insulting people because they don't know how to do easy things in MC is not helpful.
Being a Helper/Mod isn't just about laying down the law. It's a about genuinely wanting to help others so that they have a positive experience.

Can being accepted as a helper help veil as well, in the way of being nicer in chat? I think so. I can't be the only one that wants to see this application go through! Your "random" times are all the time as I think you are never truly offline until I need your opinion on something, then you're not online. You are the most active without a doubt. you're brutally honest when need be. Call me crazy but, I support this. I rarely vote on applications so roll around in all its glory.

Solid application, was wondering when I'd see your application on here to be honest, I mean like, you're very active as said, you're very imformative when it comes to questions that new players have about the server, you clearly know your stuff when it comes to minecraft, so yeah I'd say you'd be good help as helper, but one thing I'd suggest is, if you were helper, and certain players do have problems with other players, and then a disagreement comes up, and if you were the only one on to sort it out, you would have to try do something to settle the disagreement, even if it comes to talking it through with the, I know that's not your comfort zone from what I've seen, but it will be something you have to do. But other than that. It's a yes from me, the server could use a person like yourself as helper. But yeah, best of luck veil. ^ u ^

Ah I see that the Master Merchant is applying. I have to say from my dealings with him, I believe him to be of level enough head and maturity to deal with the responsibilities of staff. Certainly he can be a little gruff, but I am certain with experience that he shall gain the necessary diplomatic acumen.
Certainly this trafficker of diamonds has my vote.

The votes are actually slightly more positive than expected, which I'm glad about. Yeah, I definitely understand why one would vote no. The amount of votes seems pretty high though (especially since I didn't really mention this application). Thank you to everyone who voted (be it yes or no). Sure, I can be a bit rough at times, but I've never insulted anyone that looked for help. I essentially already explained my response to your example in the thread too. No, I'm not the friendliest nor most enjoyable person on earth, but I genuinely do still try to help as long as I reasonably can. Off the point here, but I consider 'laying down the law' helping people have a positive experience as well; Not having to deal with unwanted behaviour in chat is a good thing.
