As you may know we are drawing nearer to the end of our May build competition and we have already started thinking on what to do next. Since there is no major holidays in June (not that I know of at least) We will be doing another build competition, Theme will be "Where I want to go during the summer" the beach? Paris? fishing on a boat? sky diving? be creative in where you're dream vacation would be!
now the reason I'm posting this so early on the people who want to participate need to be committed to actually building something. With the May competition, there are some who have yet to even do anything, or tell me if they are still going to build. So I want you all to really think about if you have the time to do a build for June.
If you failed to build anything for the May competition and you did not tell me you couldn't before 24 hours of the comp closing then you will NOT be able to join this next competition. sounds harsh but I put in a lot of time, effort, and supplies into these competitions only for half the plots being empty. If you don't think you can build something then don't join, let someone else who would like to join and actually build something have a chance.
*DO NOTE THIS IS NOT THE SIGN UP POST FOR THE JUNE COMPETITION* that will come closer to june!
thanks and have a nice day. -Kitty cat patty wack, give a dog a bone.

I have an idea that may encourage more people to participate. Instead of a competition based on the prettiest or most creative build, why not base the prize on the biggest build, or the most functional build within the smallest space.
Maybe those aren't the best alternatives, but my point is to base the prize on a criteria that doesn't "require" a participant to be an accomplished builder in order to have a chance to win.

The dont have to be good at building, as long as the build something. In the build competitions that I'll be hosting, everyone will walk away with something. There wasn't necessarily a problem with people signing up but rather some of the players with plots just didn't have time to get on and build. And I mean it IS a build competition after all. They don't necessarily have to be the best just have to do their best.
